Splendid Colours, Patterns and Motifs: Our Seljuk Collection Favourites
Oriental rugs cannot be fully taken in at first glance. With so many finer details, an Oriental rug is a carefully crafted piece in which you will continue to notice new details every time you admire it, and offers the versatility to pair colours and textures in many different ways.
We wanted to share our favourite picks from our new Seljuk Collection to showcase the beautiful craftsmanship and intricate details that drew us to each unique piece. Hear from the Jennings Rugs team as we highlight our favourites.
Clare
“It’s all about colour”
Clare, owner of Jennings Rugs, has a solid favourite rug from the new Seljuk collection.
“Why did I choose it? Colour, it’s all about the colour. I just love the vibrancy of the colours and the contrast against the navy blue. It is a really interesting botanical design in the most amazing colour palette. Stunning, striking, opulent and just totally mesmerising.
So many beautiful colours that you can pull out for furnishings to go with it. You don’t want to be covering this up with any furniture, it needs to be placed where it can be seen and admired for the stunning piece of art that it is.”
Graham
“The artistry simply shines through”
Here is Graham’s favourite piece from our stunning selection of handmade Seljuk rugs.
Jon
“Traditional styling with a contemporary colour palette”
Hear why Jon loves this rug and its unique design…
“Even though I'm the youngest of the three of us at Jennings, there’s something about a traditional floral-geometric design that always strikes a chord with me. With that said, this piece is a mix of traditional(ish) styling, and a much more modern and contemporary colour palette. The sunburst orange and emerald green really make this piece sing, and the design just puts the icing on the cake!”
